Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Take vital signs and prepare patients for consultations
- Administer medications and injections under supervision
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clean exam rooms
- Handle patient scheduling and basic insurance verification
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA) preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic or similar)
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Current BLS/CPR certification
