We're urgently seeking motivated Weekend Shift Supervisors to join our dynamic logistics team in Detroit. Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 weekend warehouse staff, directing daily operations and workflow optimization
- Oversee inventory control, shipping/receiving processes, and quality assurance protocols
- Resolve operational escalations and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Generate weekend performance reports and communicate with leadership team
- Train and mentor new weekend staff on safety procedures and equipment operation
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors for seamless transition and continuity
Qualifications
- 3+ years supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Flexible availability for all weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 6am-6pm)
- Valid Michigan driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office
