We're urgently seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our high-acuity weekend shifts at Boston General Hospital. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency and critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and code blues
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Precept new nursing staff and students as assigned
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years ICU/ER experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates considered)
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
