Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Administer injections and medications under physician supervision
- Perform EKGs, vital sign monitoring, and basic lab tests
- Assist with patient intake, documentation, and EMR management
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate with weekend medical team for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong weekend availability (6am-6pm shifts)
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Spanish fluency a plus for diverse patient population
