Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during overnight shifts
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocol
- Document patient observations accurately in EHR systems
- Coordinate with on-call physicians for urgent care decisions
- Maintain sterile environments and equipment readiness
- Support patient mobility and comfort throughout the night
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) required
- Minimum 1 year night shift healthcare experience
- BLS/CPR certification and valid DC license
- Exceptional crisis management and communication skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Ability to work independently during low-staff overnight periods
