Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document observations in EMR systems
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Assist with emergency response protocols during overnight shifts
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Coordinate patient flow between departments and night shift staff
- Provide patient education on post-treatment care instructions
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in hospital/clinic setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Strong proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Excellent communication and crisis management skills
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts
