Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and medical procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures
- Record patient vitals and medical history accurately
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs
- Manage electronic health records and scheduling
- Ensure examination rooms are sanitized and stocked
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent (preferred)
- 1+ years clinical experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Basic EKG and phlebotomy skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Current BLS/CPR certification
