Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support for complex hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of IT tickets using Zendesk to ensure rapid response times.
- Oversee system installations, upgrades, and patch management for Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to implement and maintain robust security protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for staff regarding new software tools and security best practices.
- Act as a mentor to junior IT staff, providing guidance and technical expertise.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Strong working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Proficiency in managing Active Directory and Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for diverse audiences.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is strongly preferred.
