Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems for clients via phone, email, and remote desktop tools.
- Manage Support Tickets: Log and track all customer inquiries in our ticketing system to ensure a high first-contact resolution rate.
- Customer Communication: Explain technical concepts to non-technical users clearly and concisely, ensuring they feel supported.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and customer feedback.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the full-time IT staff to share knowledge and improve support protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Windows and Mac OS; basic knowledge of networking and hardware components.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to work a set number of hours per week, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
