Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues via phone and email.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot common technical problems, including printer failures and application errors.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all support tickets and user interactions in the ticketing system.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new employee workstations and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with the full-time IT team to identify trends and improve overall system efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company security protocols and data privacy standards.
- Conduct basic training sessions for staff regarding new software tools and security best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar technical role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Valid driver's license (required for occasional on-site support duties).
- Familiarity with remote access tools and basic networking concepts.
