Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to internal and external clients during night shift hours.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues efficiently.
- Monitor server systems and applications to ensure 24/7 operational stability.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless workflow continuity and knowledge transfer.
- Maintain a professional and helpful demeanor with all users, ensuring high customer satisfaction scores.
- Perform routine system backups and maintenance tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in Help Desk or Technical Support is highly preferred.
- Must be available to work Night Shift schedules (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
