Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and vital sign measurements
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Administer injections and medications per protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Sterilize equipment and prepare exam rooms
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-ups
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all interactions
Qualifications
- Active MA certification in Florida (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Phlebotomy and ECG proficiency
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts (including weekends)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic EHR system knowledge (Epic/Meditech experience a plus)
