Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in high-acuity emergency and trauma settings
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document electronic health records with precision and timeliness
- Mentor new nursing staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond rapidly to emergency codes and critical patient events
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or compact license with CA endorsement)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years of emergency/trauma nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated crisis management and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
