Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage all weekend warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of warehouse associates, conducting shift briefings and performance evaluations.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, oversee cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies immediately to maintain inventory integrity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to create a zero-incident work environment.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in weekend operations and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure forklifts and material handling equipment are inspected and maintained properly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Availability: Must be available to work Friday through Sunday on a rotating schedule.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
