Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in urgent care settings
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Perform diagnostic tests and maintain accurate medical records
- Assist in emergency procedures and triage assessments
- Coordinate with healthcare teams for seamless patient flow
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Train and mentor new team members as needed
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Technician (CMT) or EMT-P certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in urgent care or emergency
- BLS/ACLS certifications current and valid
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Maryland state license in good standing
