Responsibilities
- Lead architecture design and implementation for cloud-based SaaS platforms
- Mentor 5+ engineers while maintaining hands-on coding responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps and priorities
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices across the team
- Drive innovation through emerging tech exploration (AI/ML integration)
- Represent engineering in cross-functional strategic planning sessions
Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in leadership
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go with modern frameworks
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, production-ready systems
- Excellent communication skills with technical/non-technical stakeholders
- Agile/Scrum certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in mentoring junior engineers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
