Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce strategic foresight reports for executive stakeholders and investor briefings
- Establish innovation KPIs and track emerging tech adoption curves
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Present future scenarios to board members and industry forums
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) for trend analysis
- Strong network of contacts in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
