Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawlability, indexing, and rendering issues.
- Optimize site architecture, XML sitemaps, and robots.txt files to improve search engine visibility.
- Implement and manage schema markup to enhance rich snippets and SERP appearance.
- Collaborate with developers to improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness.
- Analyze website traffic data and user behavior to inform SEO strategy and content development.
- Monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic growth using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search rankings.
- Deep understanding of Google’s Search Central guidelines and algorithm updates (e.g., Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird).
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; experience with Python or CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or Shopify) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
