Your Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable software architectures, mentoring junior developers and ensuring code excellence across the board.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable software applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, or Python).
- Lead architectural reviews and contribute to technical decision-making processes.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams to define product requirements and deliver features.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring zero downtime and high-speed user experiences.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high technical standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective, long-term solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and at least one major web framework (React, Angular, or Vue).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Demonstrated ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team (Indianapolis/VA focus).
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
