Responsibilities
- Develop & Maintain: Architect, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Code Optimization: Review and optimize existing codebases to improve performance, reliability, and security.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions to system architecture challenges.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise technical documentation for new features and API integrations.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high coding standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a full-stack capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
- Cloud Knowledge: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately and work full-time in our Philadelphia office.
