Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior developers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize application performance using containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Lead migration of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Document technical specifications and create API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in software development
- Expert proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and distributed computing
- Proven track record of leading full-lifecycle development from design to deployment
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and TDD/BDD methodologies
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence tools
