Job Description
Are you ready to architect the future of computing? Nexus Horizon Technologies is seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Systems Engineer to spearhead our 2026 roadmap. As we stand on the precipice of a new era in information processing, you will be at the forefront of developing scalable quantum algorithms and error correction protocols.
Our Mission
We are building the infrastructure that will redefine what is possible in 2026 and beyond. We need a leader who can bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical engineering to build stable, fault-tolerant quantum systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Algorithms: Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum circuits optimized for our next-generation hardware.
- Hardware-Software Integration: Collaborate directly with hardware engineers to optimize software stacks for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct rigorous benchmarking and performance analysis to identify bottlenecks in quantum error correction cycles.
- Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes of quantum simulators to test theoretical models before deployment.
- Research Collaboration: Partner with academic institutions to stay ahead of the curve in quantum physics breakthroughs.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in quantum computing or related advanced computing fields.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python (Cirq, Qiskit) and C++ with a deep understanding of quantum gates and circuits.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and statistical mechanics.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
