Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations of 100+ member logistics team across 3 shift rotations
- Optimize inbound/outbound transportation networks reducing costs by 15% annually
- Implement WMS/TMS system upgrades to enhance warehouse efficiency
- Develop KPI dashboards tracking inventory accuracy, delivery times, and cost metrics
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives achieving 99.5% on-time delivery rate
- Manage cross-functional relationships with procurement, sales, and carrier partners
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, and ISO 9001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years progressive logistics experience with 3+ in leadership roles
- Expert knowledge of TMS/WMS platforms (Manhattan, Oracle, or SAP)
- Proven track record optimizing LTL/FTL networks in multi-site operations
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- OSHA 30-Hour and CDL-A certification preferred
- Experience managing unionized workforce (Teamsters Local 667)
