Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technological trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, space exploration) with 3-5 year horizon impact assessments
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and innovation pipelines aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate breakthrough concepts with venture partners
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership presentations at global tech summits and industry conferences
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for emerging technologies with societal impact implications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Minimum 8 years experience in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation consulting with exponential technology focus
- Proven track record of developing and implementing technology roadmaps with measurable ROI
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology, space tech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities with data-driven forecasting
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing high-stakes strategic decisions
