Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps using predictive analytics and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align engineering, marketing, and executive teams on future tech integration
- Produce strategic whitepapers on emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Advise C-suite on regulatory implications and ethical frameworks for 2026 tech deployments
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and evaluate breakthrough startups
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and policy summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 tech firms
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in scenario planning or technology forecasting (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience with regulatory impact analysis for nascent technologies
