Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to develop 2026+ strategic roadmaps
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive stakeholders, translating foresight into tactical priorities
- Establish innovation KPIs and track future-readiness metrics across all business units
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for exponential technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing products and services
- Present trend analyses to investors and boards, securing resources for future initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with proven impact on multi-year roadmaps
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, climate tech)
- Experience developing C-level strategic frameworks and influencing organizational change
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Business, Technology, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future trends (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Track record of launching future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable plans
