Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop multi-stakeholder scenarios and strategic pathways for climate-positive transitions
- Architect governance frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Partner with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D pipelines
- Host high-stakes executive workshops on exponential risk/opportunity assessment
- Produce annual Future State Briefings for board and investor communities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology governance
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario-planning work for 2020+ horizons
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Published thought leadership on systemic risks and adaptive governance
- Deep understanding of UN SDGs and circular economy principles
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS preferred)
