Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks identifying disruptive trends across technology, geopolitics, and human behavior through 2030
- Design scenario-planning models for 2026 market landscapes and competitive threats
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof business models and product roadmaps
- Author strategic foresight reports and executive briefings translating complex data into decision-ready insights
- Build and nurture an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive adoption of foresight methodologies across R&D and product development teams
- Present strategic narratives to stakeholders including board members and venture partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven experience developing quantitative/qualitative trend modeling methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with portfolio demonstrating complex data visualization
- Experience facilitating executive workshops on scenario planning and strategic pivots
- Published thought leadership in reputable foresight or business journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
