Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement 2026 innovation roadmaps
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-AI, neural interfaces) for strategic integration
- Produce trend reports and scenario forecasts for executive decision-making
- Design and execute R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budgets
- Partner with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich on cutting-edge research projects
- Present strategic briefings to Fortune 100 clients and investors
- Build and mentor a high-performance futurist incubator team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or futurist roles within tech/consulting
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Cognitive Science
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Published author in top-tier innovation journals (e.g., Future Studies Quarterly)
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing and AGI development pathways
- Exceptional communication skills for C-level stakeholder engagement
