Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and cultural trends to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions aligned with 2026 market projections
- Author high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and patent strategies
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and shape industry thought leadership
- Build and mentor a team of junior futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published thought leader with speaking engagements at global innovation forums
