Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology and societal trend forecasts using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Design and lead strategic innovation workshops for executive stakeholders and R&D teams
- Author high-impact future scenario reports and competitive disruption analyses
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight into long-term roadmaps and feature development
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry publications
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype future-facing products and services
- Maintain cutting-edge knowledge through continuous research of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurism with proven C-suite influence
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (portfolio required)
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech environments
- Ability to translate complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
