Responsibilities
- Develop and execute horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions affecting 2026+ business landscapes
- Lead client innovation workshops and scenario-planning sessions to translate foresight into actionable strategic roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers to validate trend hypotheses
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings for Fortune 500 leadership teams
- Architect innovation incubation programs bridging emerging capabilities with commercial applications
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, Delphi technique)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Certification in futures research or innovation management preferred
