Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends to develop strategic foresight frameworks for 2026-2030 horizon
- Lead cross-functional workshops to co-create innovation roadmaps with engineering and product teams
- Author high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning documents for executive decision-making
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Partner with venture capital arm to scout and assess future-focused startups
- Develop KPIs to track foresight initiatives' impact on organizational strategy
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology assessment
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioner)
