Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps for 2026 technology horizons
- Lead scenario planning and trend analysis across quantum, AI, and biotech domains
- Guide cross-functional teams in translating future-vision into actionable R&D priorities
- Present strategic foresight to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research laboratories
- Drive patent development and IP strategy for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in developing technology roadmaps for 2025+ horizons
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology innovation
