Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech) and develop strategic foresight frameworks
- Design and execute innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused capabilities into development pipelines
- Build and maintain ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical, economic, and technological disruption
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board of directors
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical technology adoption and risk mitigation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-state solutions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD/MSc) in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of translating technological trends into market-ready products
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech domains (generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous technological transitions
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (preferred)
