Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 innovation strategy using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and product roadmaps
- Establish FutureWorks' thought leadership through white papers, keynotes, and industry forums
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI tracking and risk mitigation protocols
- Curate an ecosystem of startups, academics, and policymakers to accelerate adoption
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation with proven impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies and ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans
- Published thought leadership in futurism, technology ethics, or innovation management
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and managing global innovation programs
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Strong network with technology pioneers and academic institutions
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for influencing stakeholders at all levels
