Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market entry
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios and strategic roadmaps using predictive modeling and foresight methodologies
- Chair quarterly innovation forums with global R&D teams to align 2026 technology priorities
- Present strategic futures briefings to executive board and external investors in compelling narrative formats
- Author annual 'Future State' reports distributed to 500+ enterprise partners and policymakers
- Manage $5M innovation incubator fund for 2026-adjacent pilot projects
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their 2026 implications
- Exceptional executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures research or innovation strategy (peer-reviewed journals preferred)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent professional accreditation
