As a key member of our Global Innovation Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and startup partners to anticipate paradigm shifts in AI, biotech, climate tech, and human augmentation. Your work will directly influence our $2B innovation portfolio and position us as the thought leader in next-generation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate resilience systems)
- Produce executive-level trend briefings and disruption reports for board and investor audiences
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA for emerging tech validation
- Architect ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems deployed in 2026
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers using proprietary foresight methodologies
- Represent Innovatech at Davos, CES, and World Economic Forums as a keynote futurist
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing future-oriented technologies (3+ case studies required)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies: AI, biotech, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent academic credentials
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry white papers
- Fluency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Experience advising C-suite on technological disruption and market transformation
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant field
