- Produce scenario analyses and horizon-scanning reports identifying disruptive opportunities and threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product development and business strategy
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry pioneers for trend validation
- Create executive-ready visualizations and presentations communicating complex future scenarios
- Advise leadership on portfolio decisions aligned with 2026 market projections
- Mentor junior futurists and build the organization's strategic foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented technology roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Sociology, Economics, or related field
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and foresight software
