Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary research initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop comprehensive scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making across C-suite priorities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate foresight into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Present compelling trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish and maintain an expert network across academia, industry, and policy sectors
- Author annual '2026 Horizon Reports' synthesizing global technological and societal trajectories
- Champion future-ready culture by embedding foresight methodologies into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Future Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful future-oriented strategies
- Mastery of foresight methodologies including Delphi technique, horizon scanning, and scenario planning
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with deep understanding of AI, biotech, and climate convergence trends
- Outstanding communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (e.g., books, white papers, keynotes)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
