Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework across all business units
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive market shifts
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with commercial viability
- Develop predictive models for consumer behavior shifts in the 2026 landscape
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Present trend briefings to stakeholders including Fortune 500 partners and government entities
- Establish the industry's first 2026 Innovation Index benchmarking future-readiness
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ major case studies)
- Expertise in systems thinking, behavioral economics, and technology adoption curves
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed foresight journals or top-tier business publications
- Certification in Horizon Scanning or Strategic Foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology transitions and paradigm shifts
- Portfolio of scenario planning frameworks implemented in complex organizational environments
