Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 technology trend forecasts across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and space exploration
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging market entry and disruptive technology adoption
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to capture early-stage innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in recognized industry publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
