Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging opportunities and threats in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce actionable strategic briefings for executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Design innovation frameworks to accelerate R&D pipeline development for 2026+ initiatives
- Present future outlooks at industry conferences and stakeholder summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-thinking culture across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and quantitative trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executive action plans
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, synthetic biology) and societal impact
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
