Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive technology roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 market readiness
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and Board of Directors with data-driven insights
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets across 15+ concurrent future-tech projects
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and industry leaders
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of executing future-focused initiatives (2025+ horizon)
- Expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and investors
- Strong financial acumen for managing large-scale R&D budgets
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) or innovation management
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry forums
