Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of proprietary neural architectures designed for the The 2026 Initiative.
- Optimize deep learning models for high-throughput inference and low-latency execution in real-world environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and product managers to translate theoretical research into deployable solutions.
- Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns for large-scale AI systems.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical rigor.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and hardware accelerators (e.g., TPUs, GPUs) to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Machine Learning or Computational Neuroscience.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically focused on Deep Learning and AI architecture.
- Extensive expertise in Python, C++, and GPU programming (CUDA/OpenCL).
- Strong proficiency in frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Proven track record of deploying scalable AI systems handling billions of parameters.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
