We are seeking a visionary Senior 2D Web Game Developer to lead our interactive media division. As a key member of our engineering team, you will architect high-performance 2D engines, optimize rendering pipelines for mobile and desktop, and mentor junior developers in best practices for web game development.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable 2D game engines using HTML5 Canvas, WebGL, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure 60FPS gameplay across a wide range of devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate creative concepts into functional gameplay mechanics.
- Integrate third-party APIs and game services (analytics, leaderboards, social sharing).
- Debug complex issues in the rendering pipeline and memory management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D game development or web graphics programming.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Expert knowledge of Canvas API, WebGL, or Pixi.js/Phaser.js.
- Experience with physics engines (Matter.js, Box2D) and particle systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or equivalent experience.
