Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D web applications using HTML5 Canvas, SVG manipulation, and WebGL.
- Create complex, award-winning animations and interactive data visualizations that delight users.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure smooth 60fps animations even on mobile devices.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into pixel-perfect, animated interfaces.
- Maintain and refactor legacy 2D rendering engines while migrating to modern frameworks.
- Contribute to the technical roadmap for our proprietary 2D graphics library.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in 2D web development or game development for the web.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of the HTML5 Canvas API, SVG, and WebGL.
- Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP, Anime.js, or Three.js.
- Strong grasp of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
