Responsibilities
- Design and execute high-quality 2D animations for web, mobile applications, and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, storyboard artists, and developers to ensure seamless integration of assets.
- Create complex character rigs and keyframe animations using industry-standard software.
- Maintain a consistent visual style across all projects while pushing creative boundaries.
- Optimize animations for performance and compatibility across various devices and browsers.
- Provide constructive feedback to junior designers and participate in daily creative critiques.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in 2D motion design and motion capture technology.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a 2D Animator or Motion Designer.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of the 12 principles of animation and timing and spacing.
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong range of motion graphics and character animation.
- Experience with production pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Shotgun).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
