Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize 2D animation pipelines using industry-standard tools such as After Effects, Spine, and HTML5 Canvas.
- Collaborate with art directors and technical leads to translate creative concepts into high-performance code.
- Implement rigging systems and skeletal animation for character and environment assets.
- Debug and resolve rendering issues to ensure smooth frame rates and visual consistency.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior animators on technical best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in 2D animation, motion graphics, or technical art.
- Proficiency in After Effects, Photoshop, and vector graphics software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape).
- Strong understanding of frame rates, interpolation, and timing.
- Experience with game engines (Unity or Unreal Engine) for 2D implementation is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Portfolio demonstrating both artistic style and technical capability.
