Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in fast-paced emergency and critical care settings
- Assess, monitor, and document patient vital signs and medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations using advanced life support protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or emergency department experience
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
